Whiteside Slotting Cutter 3/32' 3-Wing Slot cutting router bit for use with our LED T-Molding Housing or any other T-Molding that has a 1/8' wide spine (including the barbs). Requires a slot cutting arbor, such as the A200B or equivalent. Kerf: 3/32' (Slot Width). If you don't have a router I honestly don't know how you would cut the slot. However if you are looking for a cheaper cutting bit I found mine on amazon a few months back for about $25. Which isn't much cheaper but I don't think I would trust a super cheap bit. That's how you ruin your hard work. My A1U's both currently have pin-striping tape on the edges, but I'm thinking of getting the proper slot cutter for my router and adding real 1/2' t-molding. It doesn't look to be a very difficult thing to do (see linked video) and can probably just cut the slot with the cabinet lying on its side, so no need to fully take apart.
